Content Management
Requirement
In an effort to take an aggressive approach to growing their business, a non-for-profit association called McKinley Marketing Partners for help. The client wanted to update aspects of their website, including all facets of member communications content. An Interim Marketing Managersm (IMM®) was needed as soon as possible to support web content projects, including the copywriting and creative direction for the site, until permanent employees could be identified.
Solution
The IMM served as the interim content manager reporting to the vice president of communications. In this capacity, she interfaced with many of the departments and other groups. The IMM worked with the web team, the research database group, and communications managers to identify needs for content. She reviewed the recommendations on what content should be included, wrote the copy, and negotiated the use of content from third party resources as required. She served in this role until the new content management team was hired.
