EVENT COORDINATION SUPPORT
A telecommunications company contacted McKinley Marketing Partners in need of an event coordinator to assist with the logistics and scheduling associated with upcoming internal events, conferences, and executive meetings. McKinley provided a marketing consultant with over ten years of experience in event marketing.
The consultant worked cross departmentally to ensure the success of multiple internal and external events. For each event, she coordinated attendee logistics, including but not limited to, hotel accommodations, hospitality events, show passes, and meeting/tour bookings. She worked alongside the digital marketing manager to develop Web and digital promotions, as appropriate, for the conferences and events. She also coordinated speaking opportunities and technical demonstrations, and maintained event budgets using the client’s proprietary systems and tools.
One particular deliverable of the project included the execution of a trade show booth at an annual wireless industry conference. The booth was over 6,400 square feet in size and the consultant facilitated product demonstration tours. She had to learn new technical specs quickly and worked with a new department within the client company. The client benefited from the consultant’s excellent interpersonal and team building skills to execute a successful trade show booth presentation.
